Myspace Band Player GeneratorA "Nominee" is defined as a person who is appointed to an office or position but the artist, Nominee himself, boosts the definition up another notch by saying that he is a person who is selected to do God's work on the devils playground. From the point of view that no one man is perfect soul and with two sides to every story, Nominee exploits the positives and negatives that create this one world. With influences from such artists as Scarface, Twista, Tech N9ne, 8Ball & MJG, Yukmouth, and others. Nominee developed his own fast twisted lyrical style that makes him stand out from the rest.Born and raised in Colorado, this man of Vietnamese and Caucasian descent has been on a roller coaster ride in the music scene for a while. He is a self promoter and net worker who exploded on the music scene in '96 with his click B.U.MOB, which consists of Wild, King Real, Quija, and Tuff.Their first release was "B.U.MOB presents Trinity" in April '04. With over 1500 cds pushed, B.U.MOB gained exposure through the local scene performing at shows with almost every artist in Colorado thats making names for themselves. In June '05, a death in the family put a halt on Nominee's music for about 6 months. Others in the click continued to do their thing but Nominee too a break to tend to his family and clear his mind.In February of '06, he returned to the studio to record tracks for his solo debut "Die Hard Vol. 1". While recording for this album he solely put together the N.T.M. promotional disc that did 5000 copies. He recorded tracks with Bizzy Bone of Bone Thugs and Harmony, Young Droop, and broadened his horizon with features on other Colorado albums. Also during this time, other click members chose to go their own separate paths so that's when Nominee solidified that he was a solo artist.Since the release of "Die Hard" in October '06, Nominee has been recognized by fans musicians around the world with the help of shows, myspace, CDBaby.com, and iTunes, distributing 1500 plus in sales and downloads. His myspace has accumulated more than a quarter million plays and counting (UPDATE: SOMEONE HACKED AND DELETED MY PREVIOUS ACCOUNT On 4/1/08 and 7/2/08 SO THIS IS MY NEW ONE). He's performed in front of packed houses at the 2008 Sex Show @ the Denver merchandise Mart, Herman's Hideaway, Toads Tavern, Gothic, Boulder Theater, and other hot spots through out the Denver metro area. Nominee is now flying back in forth from California preparing his new album "ONE MILE ABOVE".Also Nominee is now a writer for the OysterNewspaper.com for there hip hop section call "Colorado Hip Hop Voice" .
