It's not easy to label Esco. Not only is he a multi talented artist, he is also a very respected songwriter, producer, talent scout and business man.Born Luis Antonio Sanchez, ESCO has quickly gained popularity in the underground music scene on the West Coast.Son of Antonio and Dora Sanchez and older sibling of Diana Sanchez, ESCO in his childhood went through a lot of hard times. ESCO had to look over his sister as they grew up because both of his parents who's legal status at the time wasn't resolved both worked two jobs to help with expenses. ESCO quickly matured and learned to become independent as he went through his childhood stage into his teens. ESCO's parents immigrated from Sinaloa, Mexico to the United States in the 1980's. Born in Pomona, California and raised in the Inland Empire ESCO's mother risked her life and her sons when she illegally entered the United States being seven months pregnant. Esco when speaking on the subject of Immigration always says," there are a lot of people doing what my mother did for me. That is why she is my angel. I am proud of my parents and everything they've done. This is why I will do my best to always represent my culture and my people with dignity. It's heroic what they do on a daily basis and we should all do more to help everyone gain their rights and equality".ESCO grew up in a neighborhood surrounded by family. He was really fortunate to have his family and friends closeby and growing up he used them for help and support. Suffering from poverty, descrimination and immigration ESCO made a few decisions that altered and changed his life forever. He said that his experiences were necessary in order to get to the position he finds himself in today. It's through these experiences that he began to discover and develop his songwriting. ESCO says that he never gave himself a chance to express himself growing up and that he had a lot of things from his childhood bottled up inside and that he used music to help him get through the toughest times in his life. Able to earn and receive a High School Diploma, ESCO feels proud of his accomplishment because he is the first male in his family to receive one. He says that it was something he needed to prove to himself, since he felt his family and teachers had given up on him he took it upon himself to give his family what they always wanted from him.ESCO quickly switched his focus to his next goal and in 2005 he began to fully involve himself in all aspects of the music industry. ESCO was featured on Mastered Trax Latino "Definicion del Fuego" album in 2007. He was also featured on the Remix for Tony Matt's hit single Pa'Bajito and formed part of the music video recorded in Texas 2007. ESCO who loves to study and breakdown music says he is barely taking his baby steps and that he is excited when he thinks about a future that looks very promising. ESCO is an artist who is very Passionate, and Demanding says that he takes pride being Mexican and from the West Coast and that he works hard to represent them with Dignity and respect. ESCO is currently working on his first album as a solo artist, release date TBD. The title of the album is "Destined for Greatness". When asked about the choice for his title ESCO says, "It is the best title to describe my life and my journey here. Life has thrown everything at me and I am still standing. Life wasn't supposed to be easy and now I understand god's plan. I had to go through all the trials and tribulations to help build my character and become a man. I had to lose it all even my son in order to see all of the blessings that have stared me square in the face all of these years.
