SIMPAL – Simpson Antoine Lee a rap artist who was born and raised in the mean streets of Washington D.C. during the time that the infamous drug lord Rayful Edmund was at the peak of his run. Brought up in a house without a father Simpal learned to become a man from the mixture of his 3older brothers 3 older sisters and his mom. Simpl mom later moved him to Maryland when DC murder rate rose to make them the Murder Capitol of the world in hopes of assuring him a better life. By the age of 13 Simpal moved to Capitol Heights, MD a city that directly touches Washington an is also known as Baby DC because of it’s high crime rate. It was at this location where he formed his first rap group called tight trio and decided rap was where he would put his focus in. After 1 studio recorded song the group would quit rap only to chase females an live the normal 13 year old life. By the age of 18 Simpal finally decided to get back in the rap game when Awol a neighborhood veteran decided to put his street money and knowledge into the rap game. Simpal went in to record on the compilation mixtape from The View Entertainment 2 days before he was due to be shipped Ft. Benning GA for the US Army basic training. A year of Army life Simpal decided that it wasn’t for him because he only joined after he didn’t make the final cuts of the Montgomery College football team. After 4 years of working, struggling and running the streets, Simpal decided with all the wars his neighborhood adopted and the death of his brother and crew leader he needed a change. In July of 2005 Simpal decided only way his situation would get better is to escape the city that brought him troubles and near death situation, so he caught the Greyhound bus with only 500 dollars to Atlanta in hopes of a better life not just music. Quickly learning the streets of Atlanta Simpal met up with Decatur rap star Luch Millions known for the hit single Bunny Hop the 2 along with Surplus from Swat Team recorded their first song together as homeboys called Shawty Jockin. Shawty Jockin quickly became a local club hit and would only make Simpal want to record more hits after understanding the importance of hits and club music in Atlanta. After years of hanging with Luch Millions, Simpal toured more than 20 cities and pleanty of music connection. Simpal is currently working with Streethustle Music Groups a team who manage the rising Detroit Atlanta based artist Lofat with the hit single “Walk It To The Bank” feat. Yung LA and Rocko. Simpal is currently working on a new mixtape called Life Is So Simpal that will be in a city near you soon.I'm Good
