I'm mike parrish. i just moved to Chitown from Boston...i know almost no one so if you wanna know me then just ask. i pee alot. i play guitar. i love things. i wish i knew more about philosophy but i'm too lazy to read it. i want to go to belgium someday because i know they have great beer. sometimes i think i have too many friends but then i hang out with them and realize why we're still friends. i was captain of the football team in high school...seriously. i dont really drink bottled water. i've been playing hockey since i was 4 years old. i like to sleep in the cold. i sometimes eat healthy in an attempt to stay in shape. my friends have better singalongs than you. i dont watch alot of tv anymore. my lung collapsed when i was 19. i wear red shorts to bed. my sister lives in virginia. i like to drink whiskey...and beer...and girly drinks sometimes too but never tequila.
+I see all this potential, and I see squandering. God damn it, an entire generation pumping gas, waiting tables; slaves with white collars. Advertising has us chasing cars and clothes, working jobs we hate so we can buy shit we don't need. We're the middle children of history, man. No purpose or place. We have no Great War. No Great Depression. Our Great War's a spiritual war... our Great Depression is our lives. We've all been raised on television to believe that one day we'd all be millionaires, and movie gods, and rock stars. But we won't. And we're slowly learning that fact. And we're very, very pissed off.+
