About Me
I come from humble beginnings....I'm from that thriving metropolis called Central Square, New York, which is just north of Syracuse. I've performed standup comedy for over 9 years. I've performed at Gotham Comedy Club, Standup NY, Comic Strip Live, NY Improv (now Broadway Comedy Club), Comix, Funny Bone Comedy Club, New York Comedy Club, Matt's Pub and Comedy Club, Shula's, The 10:55 Club, Cafe Japone, Syracuse Stage Cabaret, and in Toronto at The Great Canadian Laugh-Off competition. I have a BFA in Drama/Acting from Syracuse University, which is even more valuable than a medical degree from Yale. My favorite roles were when I played a man, a woman, and an androgynous therapist in the play, "Sylvia" (see photos in photo section). After a stint in the Army (military police), I went to law school because I felt that law would "pay the bills." (Yeah, right.) I've been licensed to practice law in Virginia since 1994. I would do law by day and standup comedy at night. After moving to Manhattan, I studied comedy at The American Comedy Institute with Stephen Rosenfield. Other comedy training includes studying with Jim Mendrinos at Gotham Comedy Club, and at Comic Strip Live with DF Sweedler. So I'm both an actor and a comedian. I recently played Elvis (in the white jumpsuit) for a British TV commercial and for a U.S. TV pilot. I've been featured on Grey's Anatomy, Nip/Tuck, Private Practice, General Hospital, Law & Order: SVU, Raising the Bar, and CSI. I currently live in sunny Hollywood, California.....
