Hailing from New Zealand's rugged east coast, singer/songwriter Mike Berry first developed his acoustic style in the unforgiving world of busking, making the tough strip of Hastings St in Napier his own. A run-in with the old juggling dude outside Georgie Pie in Wellington's Manners Mall led Mike to devise a plan to get off the streets and into Pubs. Years on the Auckland circuit followed, before his deportation to Amsterdam where he now plies his trade. His music can be described as minimal non-ska fiets rock. Or possibly just acoustic pop. Whatever the name, it's just Mike and his guitar. Tap your foot.
