BOOKHEAD MEETS MICK JONES AND TONY JAMES!
Born from a long history of writing songs together in and around Orlando under a variety of names (Psychotic Reaction, The Leftovers, Boogie Monsters, Elder Brothers), Milk Carton Superstars came together in December 2006. Playing guitars, bass, tambourine, bullhorn and occasionally singing is 8-Track Larmay. Playing drums, assorted percussion and usually singing is Bookhead Myers.
Taken from late Tuesday night sessions in the summer and fall 2007, from recordings made on the edge of Mt Dora, in a small green room lined with albums and guitars, using a four-track that fits comfortably on a TV tray, Four Track Fury is the first Milk Carton Superstars EP. The first track of each song essentially captures the band live, with drums, guitar and vocals all going down together. The remaining three tracks were then given to additional vocals, bass, different guitars and various noises.
Recorded and mixed by 8-Track.
