Born in Louisville and transplanted to New Jersey, Taylor began flowing at the age of 14 and has never looked back. Taylor moved back to the 'Ville at 16, already a polished performing artist with an equally impressive talent for creating hot tracks. He collaborated on a number of projects with Grammy award nominated Nappy Roots, Tantric, Dinco D(formerly of Leaders of The New School while also producing and performing with Unstoppable Sound Agency. Taylor honed his production skills by obtaining a musical engineering degree from Fullsail University in 2003 and went on to start his own production company, JUICE KKINGZ ENTERTAINMENT,LLC., the most aggressive crew to hit Louisville in recent memory. Taylor Mayd is also a part of "The Rock Out Boys", the newest conglomerate of the hottest producers, DJ's, artists and promoters in Louisville. In 2004 Taylor helped produce the LadyKillers soundtrack, a movie starring Tom Hanks. Taylor has completed two albums, released countless singles and maxi-singles, as well as numerous mix-tapes...including the "Mason-Dixon Massacre Vols. 1&2", and "Everything Burns". Taylor has performed with such notable acts as Nappy Roots, 8-Ball & MJG, Lil Jon, Lil Wayne, 3-6 Mafia, Pretty Ricky, Juelz Santana and Jim Jones.
