The First Miles from Denmark has been hiding in the studio for over four years, finishing the second album. The debut album "Aim for the Heart, Go !" was released in 2005 in Denmark, Sweden and Norway - and distributed in North America by It's a Trap.
The album received a lot of praise by roots rock reviewers, who named The First Miles as "the alternative country of the future” - and the band was announced as “Band of the week” by the Danish national radio P4Rock. It gave the Danes some airtime at radio stations across Denmark, the Netherlands, Belgium and Canada, and during 2005 og 2006 the band played for 14.000 people, including a gig as support for John Fogerty.
Now, The First Miles has come out of Little Bad Bear Studio, to show off the new tracks. Potent highway rockers, and romantic country ballads – about the winding roads through love, longing and dried blood, on the hunt for happiness. The album will be out early 2009.
The First Miles is alternative countryrock, with a reputation of exciting live gigs, - that kickstarts boot stomp, air guitar and tender kissing.
The First Miles’ debutalbum, “Aim for the Heart, Go !”, udkom i 2005 og gav spilletid på radiostationer i Danmark, Holland, Belgien og Canada med efterfølgende koncerter for op imod 14.000 publikummer.
