The Manicottis started in 1994. Very soon they became famous in and around Frankfurt am Main / Germany, doing club and festival gigs and sold out "unplugged" concerts. 1996 their first CD "Won't Come Down" was published after Cold Manicotti had signed a contract with the Warner Group. In 1997 their second CD "And Even If" came out and the most important TV-stations in Germany put this work into their Top Ten - charts. "Hey Laura" - their third CD - was published in the same year ."Fishstories"-1998 edited and published by the Manicottis-spreaded the rumors to be "La Crème" of the Frankfurt-Rock-Scene and "The Last Of..."has been recorded in 1999 as a final statement of the Manicottian cold individuality - Cold Manicotti decided to cease working at this point.In 2001 the small Maniland Indie-Label "Tahiti Records" gave birth to "Rarities" which contains rare mixes and cottistique material.Continuing the tradition of sold out unplugged concerts the Manicottis played in June 2008 at the legendary "Hausboot VENUS" in Frankfurt/Germany after keeping silence for so many years. Waves of joy spilled over the Atlantic Sea,across the States to Caliland.There in L.A. the small record label Curb Monday Records had been infected by Manicottism and published "Devils,Saints And Pretties" in November 2008.In 2009 "Live At Venus" will follow.....And.....somehow...the group still exists...and even if...
