Dmasta AKA the Dancehallmasta has been on the music scene at the age of 16 when he bought his first turntable. He has been on the rock and has worked with top djs and sound systems. Dmasta was born in the Gambia west africa. Music has always played an important role in the youngsters life who lost both parents at a very young age. Dmasta has spent most of his time in music and his MIC. He then realised that music was the only thing that could get him out there after going through rough times. He then starts to dj in house and school partys, then top djs, sound systems and promoters recognised him which lead him to bigger gigs in clubs and radio stations then to di world. Dmasta use to have his own radio show on City Limits Radio Gambia before moving to Belgium & Holland. He joined One Tribe Sound in 2004. He has played in some of europe finest clubs and city's like Tropics Lloret de mar Spain, Koln germany, Bremen germany stockholm sweden, Austria, Zwitzerland, uk etc etc... Dmasta is now every sunday at Hot Sunday Night MONDIAL which is one of europes best night clubs with europe most wanted djs. Dmasta is not only playing in clubs but he is also been to clash, and he won the swiss sound clash in 2007 with one tribe.He has worked with alot of artist like:Buju Banton, Capleton, Bounty, and many more. He is also looking forward to some more sound clash as it is his dream to reach to world clash one day. Talking about playing music and performance dmasta's energetic style has made him unique and different to alot of djs. It does'nt really matter which club or crowd when he starts dj, he will make you dance. Dmasta's style, performance and energy is why he is call the dancehallmasta.
