About Me

The band Desperados originated from the friendship of four musicians coming from a little town in the Netherlands called Soest (30 minutes from Amsterdam). Each one with his own nationality and experience:Eduard Angela from the Domenican Republic, Daniel de Jong from the Netherlands, Andrea Maddalena from Italy and Nacho Nava Marquez from Mexico. They started the band in 2003 and since April 2006 Radboud Visser joined the band. Desperados are giving Live -performances everywhere around Holland and Europe. The Desperados are well known for their powerful Latin Sound mixed with Hip'Hop and Rock. So far they've worked with Eurovision Songfestivallegend Johnny Logan, the British band Magna Carta and famous percussionists like Eddie C. and Bulu Viloria, who joined the band in 2007.

Influences: Because we are a group with many different cultures we all have our own taste. When you listen to the Desperados-Sound you will notice a special LatinRock-style mixed with Hip-hop, a sound we all love very much. Rock, Reggae, Soul, Salsa, Bachata and Hip-hop all belong to our favourite music.Favourites of us are: Bob Marley, Carlos Santana, Mana, Yes and UB40
