About Me

Vicinity is a Progressive Rock/Metal band situated in Trondheim, Norway. The band was founden in October 2006. With a vast variety of musical influences they started writing their own material and recorded a demo consisting of three tracks at Skansen Lydstudio in Trondheim, June 2007.
After recording the demo, Vicinity played a couple of gigs in the Trondheim area and started writing new material. In June 2008 (9th – 15th) they recorded a four-track EP called Diffusion Of Innovation. Diffusion Of Innovation EP was recorded and mixed at Toproom Studio. It was mixed by Børge Finstad, produced by Vicinity and Børge Finstad, and mastered by Morten Lund at Masterhuset, Oslo, Norway, June 2008.
