The band was founded late 2002, by Joel Peguero, Radi Pina, Salvador Alba, Victor Martinez and Ariel Lopez. Two months later the band entered a band contest where they won the first place and took the money to record their first demo. Inmediatly Perro Macho became one of the most important bands in the dominican underground scene.
In August 2003, Perro Macho released their debut album "Rabia" under La Viuda Negra Records. With this album they caught the audience's and the media's attention and got to play in some tv shows and a series of concerts.
At this point the band is getting ready to unleash their second album tittled "Roses for a Dead Soul", which will be out July 1st, with a more agressive and defined sound.
