About Me

I strongly support the idea of a free and independent Scotland, for it has been long enough ruled by the English. It is time to act now.Proud Scotsmen and Scotswomen have died for a free Scotland - don't let their sacrifice be in vain.Scotland has waited – suffered – too long under the fist of the 'Sasunachs'. Too long have we endured and watched how they made use of our land and its people for their advantage. It is time to act now, to show patriotism and to become aware of who and what we are. To become aware of our roots and our responsibility. When talking about patriotism, honour, and pride, usually the USA comes first to mind. But hearing these words, I personally think of Scotland. The one country, which fought for centuries for its freedom and had to accept bitter defeats. The one country, which never gave up, but continued to oppose the English. Which brought heroes to light, who made the earth tremble. Heroes, fighting for the right of self-determination, independence, and freedom and feared neither death nor devil. The 16th of April 1746 has been a fateful day and Scotland has lost a lot. So many brave and courageous men sacrificed their lives in the battle of Culloden and so many innocent people – men, women, and children alike – lost their lives in the aftermath. Scotland stood on the edge of total destruction. The English government was in total control of the country, the people, the culture, and even the history, trying to wipe out everything Scottish. The back was broken and the will has faded. It has been the last battle on British soil and the clans never rose again. But where are we standing now?Scotland is standing on an edge again. Facing major decisions in the time to come. The question now is, whether or not we are able to make the right decisions. Are we too cut up in a so-called Union, which is absolutely illegal considering the Declaration of Arbroath? Have we resigned ourselves to being governed by Westminster, or is the blood of our ancestors still running hot in our veins, urging us on to do all in our power to bring independence to Scotland? Are we going to accept the claims that Scotland is too poor, too weak, too witless to be an independent country and go on being patronized or will we step up and show the courage and determination to demand independence? The signs are clear and the chances to win independence have never been better. The time for Scottish independence, self-determination, and freedom has come. Now is the time for Scottish heroes to make a step forward, to show courage and to lead the nation into an independent future. Free of the chains of the Union.Just think about it – what kind of legacy do we want to leave behind?Cuimhnichibh na suinn nach maireann. Mairidh an cliu beo gu brath. For as long as but a hundred of us remain alive, never will we on any conditions be brought under English rule. It is not for glory, nor riches, nor honours that we are fighting, but for freedom — for that alone, which no honest man gives up but with life itself. From The Declaration of Arbroath 1320.Join and support the Defenders of Scotland"We had some hundreds of them breathless on the ground. They rallied, and before our left flank could reload the Highlanders came again like lions to the charge, sword in hand ... The furious leaping, kilted Highlanders were then upon them, they climbed over their dead, which soon lay four deep, and they hacked at the muskets with such maniacal fury that far down the line men could hear the iron clang of sword on barrel." - A Hanoverian soldier remarked after the battle of Culloden -
