About Me

Andy Aronis was born in Louisville, Kentucky and grew up in Bloomington, Indiana. He had already been attending lessons for six months when he received a cello for his 3rd birthday. He added classical piano lessons starting in 1st grade and studied both until middle school when he switch from classical piano to Jazz. After dropping out of the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University he moved to New York City where he lived and played music for 3 years before returning to Bloomington where he currently lives and owns a bar while still pursuing his music. It was there that he hooked up with old bandmates Colin Dugger, recently graduated from Berklee School of Music in Boston, and Mason Riley and Ross Riggs, both of whom were attending Indiana University, and formed The Lower Cascades. Andrew also currently co-writes and plays keys in the New York-based band Museums.
