God is pretty deep. You could spend your entire life getting to know Him, and still feel like you just met Him. Some folks will spend all eternity with Him and still feel as if they barely know Him. He is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; three in one; one in three. I know complicated right! That's just the tip of the iceberg. He is also a righteous judge, and merciful friend. He is full of paradoxes, but as you get to know Him more, you'll start to realize that those paradoxes aren't so bad. He explained everything in His books. Check out all of them in the Bible. God is so great and so wonderful that there is no way to know exactly what He is like, and so He sent the Son to reveal His person and His character. No image or description can accurately capture all there is to say about Him, but in Christ His love, grace, mercy, and holiness is revealed. Ever wonder how God would treat a prostitute, a social outcast, a crooked politician, a self righteous church going man; all of this and so much more is revealed in the life of Christ as described in the Gospels.
