Kodiak was raised in hebron ohio pretty much all his life,grew up listening to rap music since the age of 12,about the age of 14 he got into the local underground hardcore/punk scene and kinda blinded away from rap music,then we he was about 17 he realized true rap made him relate better then any song in any other genre of music.He decided one night to lay down a rap on a computer mic and a beat that was pretty bad.With his dumb rhymes and crazy flow he realized that he liked what he was doing and decided to start takin it seriously since then he has written and recorded well over 40 songs and now starting to get notice.Kodiak joined up with tryforce productions in 2007 founded by J-rich and J1000,kodiak met up with them at local show that rich came out and played in newark ever since then things have climbed for him."I must say that j-rich has kinda been someone that looks out for me lets me know whats good and not good,The main thing is i love music and i would like to continue to keep making it no matter weather i get famous or not i just love the music".I am always down to do collabas so if your interested just let me know and ill be down.
