In the twilight of my life...

About Me

"We don't read and write poetry because it's cute. We read and write poetry because we are members of the human race. And the human race is filled with passion. And medicine, law, business, engineering, these are noble pursuits and necessary to sustain life. But poetry, beauty, romance, love, these are what we stay alive for. To quote from Whitman, "O me! O life!... of the questions of these recurring; of the endless trains of the faithless... of cities filled with the foolish; what good amid these, O me, O life?" Answer. That you are here - that life exists, and identity; that the powerful play goes on and you may contribute a verse. That the powerful play goes on and you may contribute a verse. What will your verse be?" - Dead Poets Society

My Interests

Interests are both subjective and changing I do have several constant interests -Band- I have been playing the trumpet for ten years now All of that time has been spent in some form of Band or another To say that band hasn’t impacted my life would be a terrible lie The majority of my friends and people I’ve met have been through Music Here is to another ten years of doing what I do best! -KKPSI- While a newer passion of mine, this one is now no less important While Brotherhood is a strong word The meaning is stronger -Anime- Sorry American Television, you bore the crap out of me Anime however, not so much While at it’s core still a collection of cartoons I’d still take Bleach and Death-Note over American Idol any day

I'd like to meet:

Someone who is as ready for the dawn as is fearful of it Someone who brings out the very best in me to help her Someone who brings out the very worst in me to help me Someone who knows where the road her dreams lie on is Someone who knows where those dreams lead to Someone who won't sell those dreams for small desires.
