I am here for Networking

About Me

EVAC DSM(East Village Art Coalition, Des Moines) is a coalition of contemporary visual artists who think and exist within the context of the global art community.
Thank you for joining us at Artstop for "Sub-Ritual" this past September and taking the time to experience our latest collaboration with one of our partners from Visual and Performing Arts Des Moines, Hurley & Dancers. The show was an outstanding success and we were the talk of the town.
EVAC has launched its second annual internet based show. "Dislocations" will run online through December 2008. Sponsored by Scion of Des Moines, this exhibition is a totally web based show, juried by Patricia Hickson, Curator from the Des Moines Art Center. To view this exhibition please link to our website at www.evacdsm.org .

EVAC DSM: Plans for the Future...
Please stay tuned to our mySpace page and our web page to keep on top of our plans for the coming year. Among other things, we've updated our membership package, and redesigned and repurposed our website. New Salon programming will commence beginning in '09, so stay tuned to our website at www.evacdsm.org.
