About Me

Welcome... to my page and a few samples of my songs.
My story is a bit different - from my mid-teens my hearing gradually deserted me but I always loved the music and carried on with it until I couldn't anymore.
Then I sold all my guitars and spent a lot of years writing computer programs instead of music. It took a long time, but eventually I found my way back and now I've completed a full circle to where I left off long ago.
I've been carrying some of these tunes around in my head for all that time. Having bottled it all up for so long, now I can't keep up with it and I'm always working on new tunes.
Please visit my personal website www.laurenceamery.com to find out more about my journey.
If you like the music samples head off to Itunes where you'll find the album - Laurence Amery / 'Cowboys of a Certain Age'.
