I am one of those rarities these days,born and raised in Mesa Arizona. I love,love the Arizona Desert, and I'm so darn happy to be living here again! I like to close my eyes and remember how wonderful the orange blossoms smelled in the springtime, and the smell of rain on the desert, The sweet smell of Alfalfa being mowed, and picking our own produce from the fields and citrus groves owned by Earl Recker, on the ranch where my dad(after he left the military)worked, and my uncle was head foreman. Swimming in the canal by my house was a blast, we never considered it to be dangerous! I sometimes wish I could go back to those days when Mesa was a small idealistic little town. Every thing has grown and all the Citrus groves and farming areas are gone, except where I live now, but I'm afraid it too will disappear under progress before very much longer!I want to meet my Grand daughters Ashley and Amber. I haven't seen them since they were small and they are teenagers now. I want very much to see April(my grand daughter) just give her a big, big hug, tell how much I missed her, and then hold my great grand daughter Ally in my arms!..Note: I finely got to see April again and met sweet little Ally. it was a sweet reunion for me! I have a brother who was adopted as a baby that I hope to meet someday, and his beautiful daughters Meagan, Holly and Karmel. There are a lot of people from my past that I would love to just see one more time, Joy and Cheryl are two.. I found out Cheryl has terminal breast cancer, so I'll meet up with her later., And last but not least, I hope leave this Earth in the arms of Jesus and meet God.
