Emma PERRINGERARD

Zeriznomi was established in Boston, MA in Feb 2006. The idea was to put a 5-piece band together that played mostly original music. They did just that. It wasn't an easy task of putting the band together because of the location of several musicians. Emma Perringerard (vocals), Laura Valla (vibes), and Aaron Darrell (bass) were all attending Berklee college of music while Nick Anderson was attending New York University grad school. Timothy Turner had just moved back to Virginia from Boston but with a lot of sacrifice from the band members, they were able to play together a few times. In April 2007 Zeriznomi received a spot in the Marciac Jazz Festival in Marciac, France. The band toured mostly around the south and southwest of France for one month. Since the Mid July to Mid August tour. Emma Perringerard moved to India to study music, Laura Valla went back to Berklee to finish up her Degree which she completed in May of 2008. Nick Anderson went back to New York University to finish up Grad school. Aaron Darrell went back to Berklee and started playing a lot of sessions around Boston, and Timothy Turner moved to Charlottesville, VA and gigs regularly and writes music for a few groups around the area. Zeriznomi will be back together again in June of 2008 to write music and pracitice and to perform around the East coast for the Summer of 2008.
