About Me

"Ernie Mannix’s music is particularly effective."- Variety
"Ernie Mannix provides a melodic, piano-based score that’s quite charming." - Variety
"Further adding to the atmosphere is a canny use of music...including classic themes"- Hollywood Reporter
"One of Hollywoods Top Music Editors" - Hollywood Reporter
Ernie Mannix
has been making music in many forms since the 1800’s. He has performed in everything from dive bars to the stage of Carnegie Hall. Somewhere around 1875 his first pop album "Fast Forward" was released.

Since then it’s been music for commercials, movies, TV and at times puppet shows. It’s all been a blur, and at times a real pain in the ass. Failing every math course he ever took, he is unqualified to do anything else.

Currently Ernie is music editing and composing on feature films, and also working on his autobiography entitled; "Slightly Horrible".

Fun facts:

- Has the surreal distinction of performing at Carnegie Hall with Luciano Pavarotti seated in the audience.

Wrote the "Dinner at Eight - San Pellegrino" jingle. (Originally wriiten for Tony Bennett!)

- Had the Stanley Cup at his house for 24 hours.
