Some words about us....
Our band, Skysent Lu, was created in the year of 2004.
At the beginning Antonis Vamvakaris (vocals) had the idea about making a band. Alexandros Varsanis (drums) followed him and found our bassist. Roula Mamali (bass) joined the band and the band started rehearsing. Christos Spyropoulos (guitar) came after a while. We were trying very hard to compose our first two songs. And finally we made it!!!
Their names: 1. Fairytales, 2. Two seconds late.....
After that Antonis Vamvakaris had to leave the band for personal reasons. Nondas Emmanouil (vocals) joined and became our new singer. Kostas Karapetsas (guitar) also joined the band. We were rehearsing for a half a year, when suddenly our bassist (Roula) had to leave the band, so, a new member joined us.... Giorgos Silivridis came and in a very short time became one of the “today's Skysent Luâ€.
The year of 2006 was our inspiration year...We wrote and composed five more songs: 1. Bobs adventures, 2. Last mans cry, 3. Follow me, 4. Loneliness of my heart, 5.Few moments. After that, we were rehearsing in order to be prepared for live performances....
At the same year (2006) we started our live performances in many different places....
2007: One new song was added in our list.... “Forgiven Punishmentâ€, as we continued our live performances...
2008: We composed one more song named “Into the nightâ€...
Now we are recording all our nine songs hoping that our disc will be ready as soon as possible.......!!!!!
