In 2001, four friends decided to start a band.In 2004 they released their first DIY recording called "Zo strak als m'n oma" (translated: "As tight as my grandma"), a title that clearly represents the musical quality of the recorded songs.Somewhere halfway through 2005, guitarist Jacques and drummer Luc decided it was their time to quit. Rather quickly they got replaced by guitarist Philip and drummer Maarten, who both turned out to be worthy replacements.Summer 2007, Rapaille recorded an EP/demo containing 4 songs. We are currently working on a new 4 song demo, which will come out somewhere around may 2009. Expect a slightly different sound from our last recording due to some line-up changes. Niels has gone from guitar and lead vocals to bass guitar, while Erik is now doing all the lead vocals.Rapaille will continue what they've been doing since the beginning: In their own way, no trendhopping, no bullshit, but straight up music with a message that they believe in.
