Sonnik is Nicolas Courtois. Born in 1977 in Paris, Nico meets the music at the age of 8. With 10 years of classical conservatory and 8 years of Drums and percussions, he starts making music in various rock bands at 14 years old as drummer and producer.In 1999, he dicovered Trance and Electronic music with parties in Paris, France and around the World and decided to create is own Trance music project "Sonnik" in 2005. He released the first track he made "First ray of the new sunrise" in 2006 on the Pygmees Groove Vol 2 compilation @ Turbo Trance Record.After some Full-on morning tracks, Sonnik's taste moved more and more towards the slower and groovier side of music to finally moving in a more progressive style with electro and house influences, which can be described as pumping and grooving progressive trance, perfect to join together the whole of people on outdoor dancefloor......
