The Empires

THE BAND: The Empires are a 4-piece indie/rock band based in the West Midlands. The current and final line up formed in 2007.
THE STYLE: Hugely melodic and atmospheric sounding with a very raw edge. Totally energetic.
THE SONGS: All four members of The Empires are capable songwriters offering varied styles and influences to the band.
T.V & RADIO: T.V appearances include live performances and interviews on Sky News and Channel 5 News. Radio appearances include live acoustic performances and interviews on Kerrang Radio, BBC WM, BBC Humberside and Wolverhampton Campus Radio.
VENUES & SUPPORT: Have played well over 1000 gigs in some of the biggest indoor venues across the U.K as well as touring Ireland and the Shetland Isles. Support slots include We are Scientists, The Twang, Proud Mary and The Open.
FUTURE: Currently taking time out to write and record new material. The band will be back on the road shortly. Please check back for gig updates.
