Band Members: gronda gronda, netron, starchaser, invisible man, fruit salad. plus abelton, fasttracker and Mr Fruity Loops and definitely not that chain smoking monkey with tears in his eyes.
Influences: music
B12 , Black Dog, Plaid , Boards of Canada , Aphex Twin, Aphex Twin, Autechre, Speedy J, Laurent Garnier, FishGoDeep , Daft Punk , Alan Braxe, Kraftwerk, Human League, Depeche Mode, Cabaret Voltaire, Erasure, Vince Clarke, A-ha and New Musik/Tony Mansfield. On the non-electronic side of things, I like the music of the Cocteau Twins, Wire, Blur, The Beatles, John Lennon, The Smiths - the Cocteaus particularly , as I have all their albums. They sure as hell knew how to make a guitar sound jingly jangley and very spacey. And Wire - because their lyrics (and of course music) are from another planet.

films
tarantino, martin scorcese. al pacino. and anything De Niro. With a smattering of Star Wars. I have so many favourite films that it would be impossible to list them all,but i was to end up on a desert island with just one film , it would have to be Goodfellas .
books
Carl Sagan's Cosmos and the Demon Haunted World . Both turned me into a bit of a space nut, so I'll probably bore you about the latest exoplanet discoveries or what Cassini has photographed in the Saturnian system today. The "Demon Haunted World" is more about rationality and the philosophy of science. The "baloney detection kit" chapter is particularly enlightening. The Illiad by Homer is a timeless Greek classic. Visited the island of Thassos in Greece once , and treked up a mountain to visit an ancient Greek temple to Apollo. It just blew me away - the ghosts of times past and the sheer scale of the history behind it were awe inspiring. 1984 by George Orwell, as it seems to be even more relevant nowadays. Politicial "spin" is just an updated Newspeak
Elegant Universe by Brian Greene is an awe inspiring work. A bit hard going at times, but if you want to dip into superstring theory, thats a book I would recommend. When I want to improve my command of the English language, a dip into the works of Oscar Wilde does the trick. The conservational prose and grammar of Wilde's plays is just incredible in its complexity and detail
travel
my favourite place to unwind and chill out is the Balearic island of Menorca . The background image on this page is a photo I took in 2006 of the sunset there.
