About Me

I am a children's author whose books are set in the the exciting world of English Premiership football. Twins Archie and Rosie Carr are ten years old, and have a very famous dad - star striker Gavin Carr. You'd think it would be great, having someone as cool, rich and famous as that for a dad, but don't you believe it! Archie hates football and dreams of becoming a famous film director, much to his dad's disgust. It's his sister Rosie, who has inherited their father's silky skills. As good a footballer as any boy her age, she's determined to get into the school first eleven football team, even if the boys don't want her! Action Replay by S W Parry is a funny, heartwarming story that will make you chuckle out loud, and leave you feeling good inside long after you've read the last page. With a supporting cast of characters ranging from popstars to film directors as well as the high octane action of top flight football, this a book that delights both young and old, boys and girls. ISBN 0955176506Runaway Success sequel to Action Replay is out 8th March 2008. This time Archie and Rosie have a new sidekick in the shape of club mascot Barty Boar. A legend among football mascots for his antics, Archie is determined to find out his true identity. When he does things really kick off, especially with the arrival of cute lady mascot Betsy Boar, whom Barty hates on sight! And what is it that lurks beneath Barton Hall School - something scary enough to bring in a team of television ghosthunters. It's an opportunity Archie can't miss, and with his usual daring decides to join the ghost hunt uninvited and gets the shock of his life! ISBN 978-0-9551765-1-7
