My Interests

Lying about the floor, pumping the iron, complaining a little, farting around, cooking and baking, hip openers of a serious nature, getting fired up about the health/pharma/food industries or the war on drugs and how they are all interrelated through conspiracy, perfection, jokes about poo, quiet places, time to myself, being flexible, wine loving sans snobbery, indulging in self-domestication, finding the place where biology and psychology intersect, walking fast, eating al pastor from a dirty taqueria, repeating myself, being perpetually late by 12 minutes, purposely using incorrect grammar when I speak because I do not want to sound too bookish, yo-yoing and learning from other people

I'd like to meet:

Anyone who likes to rub my belly when I'm full and pet my head when I'm tired.

Music:

I love Frank Black. I really, really can't get enough of Frank Black. And Paul Simon. But sometimes I listen to other things like Herbert, Dani Siciliano, M.Craft, the Strokes, Four Tet, the Knife, Royksopp, Maximo Park, Beanz, Lovage, Iron and Wine, Mark Lanegan, Aphex Twin, Trentemoller, Regina Spektor and anything my little sister likes.

Movies:

Cabaret, Withnail & I, Batman with Christian Bale, Singin' in the Rain, Celebrity (I know I'm mostly alone in loving this movie, but I'm okay with that), Hannah and Her Sisters, Annie Hall, Life Aquatic, Harold & Maude, Crimson Gold, I Heart Huckabees, Fight Club, Branded to Kill, Empire of the Sun, American Psycho, La Notte or any other movie where I get to oggle Monica Vitti

Television:

Buffy. Grey's.

Books:

Anthropologist on Mars, Persepolis, Miriam Katin, Adrian Tomine, Y: The Last Man, Harry Potter, Artemis Fowl, Philip Pullman, Goodbye Chunky Rice, The Red Tent, The Wind Done Gone, Requiem for a Dream, Thank You for Smoking, Maya Angelou, Tobias Wolf

Heroes:

Buffy.
