English Biography 2008 Torsten Urbanski alias DJ T. Urban was between 1983 & 1984 gripped by the music fever.
When he was nine years old he belonged to a Breakdance group, which called itself "junior BREAK". At the tender age of 11 years old, he began his first attempts to mix, from Tape to Tape.
There were very often wild cuts and breaks with the music. As he could not go any further with this method, he decided to purchase his first mixer. He began to mix all types of music together. The Breakdance - was then out of "fashion". New music styles came into fashion and he practiced,at home, to mix the styles, in order to become more proficient.After a while and many months of practicing he became more experienced and he began to expand his music & DJ equipment.
After some set versions and experiments, he started to concentrate more and more on Styles House, Vocal and Trance. Over the years, requests from friends grew and he began, apart from his own "Auflegerei",to produce a few tracks himself in his own studio. When everything was in place and he was satisfied with his own work , he placed his own productions on the computer network, so that music listeners could listen to his work and offer their opinions. At the same time his friend Ingo Lorenz implemented the first Web presentation DJ T. Urban ' s. and from then on operated it with the utmost care to increase its popularity over the internet which he finally succeeded to do.His mixes were heard on internet portals such as techno.de, magix.de and even on loveparade.net.
Other Djs sent their compliments.... and so DJ T. Urban produced remixes for other DJ's,and the demands for his services continued to grow,but also for his own productions. On the 20.10.2002 his first 2 Singles were released. The track was called After Darkside and was produced in co-operation with DJ Vortex and released by Michele Checci of UFO records in Italy.Along side his increasing studio work, he is at present to be heard on numerous internet radio sites, where he serves his listeners with mixes and sets in his own personal style. Between 2003-2005 came his most succesful period as he released a set of new VÖs. Thanks to Norbert N. & Jutta W. von D.Connection he is on 6 CD Compilations.
After the time with Neon Entertainment,Torsten got to know the boys from BeatControl and remixed for them on a regular basis as well as working on his own tracks,which were released a little while later. On the 26.July 2005 he made a remix for Beam - Odin. The track was played on Radio SunshineLive on the Dj Warmduschers Dj set. The single was then released on musicload.de.By now the large internet portal had become acquainted with DJ T. Urban and he had got to know many new people, from whom he got many ideas about which tracks he could work with and then remix.In 2007 he got to meet Dj Scotty & Full Gainer and was allowed to contribute 2 remixes for their Project Belmount & Parker-Back to my Roots and House Shoes Energy. From then on,he concentrated on the House & Electro scene and at the same time began to put his own style in his remixes in both types of music, whereby his repotoire grew.
Besides Trance, Jumpstyle and Hardstyle,it now included House and Electro music. The year 2008 began very successfully for him. His single Affection for Love received good reviews in the Trancesektor and Armin van Buuren played his single on his radio DJ set. Numerous remix enquiries continue to come which included a request from DJ Swede,to which DJ T.Urban contributed 3 remixes. DJ T.Urban continues untiringly in his studio, working on new tracks and Remixes,and also on his perfection into puncto Djing.
2008 was and will be a successful year for DJ T. Urban!!

Torsten Urbanski alias DJ T. Urban wurde zwischen 1983 & 1984 vom Musik-Fieber erfasst. Mit neun Jahren gehörte er zu einer Breakdance-Gruppe, die sich "Junior Breaks" nannte. Bereits im zarten Alter von 11 Jahren, starte er seine ersten Versuche, von Tape zu Tape zu "cutten". Es waren sehr oft wilde Schnitte und Breaks mit der Musik. Da Ihm das bald nicht mehr ausreichte, musste das erste Mischpult ins Haus. Er mixte alles zusammen, was es im Bereich Musik gab. Die Breakdance - Zeit war dann vorbei, andere Musikstile kamen in Mode und er übte zu Hause das mixen, um immer besser zu werden. Zunehmend vermehrte sich seine Erfahrungen und auch sein Musik & DJ Equipment. Nach etlichen Setvarianten und Experimenten, stellte er fest, dass seine Konzentration mehr und mehr auf die Styles House, Vocal und Trance ausgerichtet waren.
Im Laufe der Jahre wuchsen auch seine Anforderungen an sich selbst und er begann neben seiner "Auflegerei" auch selbst ein paar Tracks zu produzieren; wodurch er sich ein eigenes Studio zulegte. Als das nötigste zusammengestellt war, stellte er seine eigene Produktionen ins Netz, damit auch andere Musikfreunde sie sich ziehen und Ihre Meinungen dazu äussern konnten. Zeitgleich realisierte sein Freund Ingo Lorenz die erste Web-Präsentation DJ T. Urban 's. Von nun an arbeitete er akribisch daran, seinen Bekanntheitsgrad übers Internet zu steigern, was Ihm letztendlich gelang. Reihenweise waren seine Mixe auf Portalen wie das (u.a.) techno.de, magix.de sowie sogar auf loveparade.net.
Begehrlichkeit durch andere Djs ....
In letzter Zeit konnte DJ T. Urban vermehrt Remixe für andere DJ's produzieren und die Nachfragen steigen kontuninierlich, wie auch die eigenen Produktionen. Am 20.10.2002 wurden die ersten 2 Singles veröffentlicht. Der Track heißt After Darkside und ist in einer Zusammenarbeit mit DJ Vortex produziert und durch Michele Checci von Ufo Records Italy Realesed worden. Neben seinen gestiegenen Studioarbeiten, bewegt er sich zur Zeit in zahlreichen Internet- Radios, wo er seine Hörer mit Mixen und Sets bedient. Nach der Zeit mit Neon Entertainment lernte Torsten die Jungs von Beat Control kennen und machte fleissig remixe für Sie und schraubte auch weiter an eigenen Tracks, die zu einem späterem Zeitpunkt Released werden sollten. Jetzt durch das große Internet Portal lernte DJ T. Urban auch viele neue Leute kennen, mit denen er viele Ideen zu Tracks verwirklichen konnte und diese auch nachwievor noch umsetzt. 2007 machte er die Bekanntschaft mit Dj Scotty & Full Gainer und durfte 2 remixe für ihr Project Belmount & Parker - Back to my Roots und House Shoes-Energy beisteuern.
Von da an, fügte er sich in der House & Electro Szene ein und steigerte zeitgleich auch sein Legestil um diese beiden Stils, wodurch sein Repoiter neben Trance, Jumpstyle und Hardstyle, nun auch House und Electro umfasst. Das Jahr 2008 begann für Ihn auch schon sehr erfolgreich. Seine Single Affection for Love hatte gute Ressonanzen im Trancesektor erhalten und Armin van Buuren spielte seine Single in seinen Radio DJ Sets.
