Johnny Augland

Johnny Augland is a norwegian guitarist/pianist/singer. He also plays drums and bass. These tracks taken from his 2005 debut album "My kind of blues", shows Johnny playing all the instruments himself. (Bernhard Seland on Sax). Johnny is best known for his work with norwegian bluesband Good Time Charlie and Vidar Busk & His True Believers. In the early eighties Johnny lived in California , USA, and played with Rock Bottom. Back home in Norway in 1988 , Johnny teamed up with Arle Hjelmeland and Good Time Charlie. Johnny played with Good Time Charlie for ten years (1988-1998), and released "Coming down with the blues" in 1995. He went on to produce the Vidar Busk albums , "Stompin our feet with joy", "I Came here to rock", "Atomic Swing", and played organ/piano and guitar in Busks touring band. He started workin on his solocareer in 2001 after leaving Busk, and formed his own band.
