A Touch of Fear

About Me

A Touch of Fear is a new genre of metal, combining the tried and true sounds of traditional solid heavy metal with the complexity and harmony of modern metal.

Originating in early 2002, A Touch of Fear has evolved it's sound and band members immensely over the years. While still retaining the hard hitting riffs of the past, the current lineup has a maturity, stage presence and embodied sound of a professional band.

Approaching the very heart of topics that intrigue, trouble or interest us most, ATOF provides a forum of thought and reason, rather than another reason to spill blood.

With the addition of Neville, the band has now found a way to truely express the music. Where before lay a raw speed approach, the harmony and melody is now combined with the industrial aggression to tell a far greater story.

Welcome to the path of fear...

Sounds Like: A Touch of Fear's sound is a blend of early 90's Sepultura style riffing, mixed with the industrial picking of Fear Factory, as well as melodies and breakdowns found in many of today's modern metal.

We have given every song it's own personality, sound and theme, in the hope that the listener can relate to the music instantly. We want people to discern between the first song we played, and the last.
