Useless Couture started on the back of a tour bus through the Midwest, with two musicians and a photographer stealing each other's clothes and looking at trends in the crowd. We all used to wear each other's shirts and we started talking about what we liked and didn't like and we saw what was going on with the clothing industry. We looked at what people were wearing to the shows and in all the cities, colorful and true fitting stuff, funny stuff, some outspoken and socially conscious stuff, and we thought we’d play along.The goal was simple - to make perfect t-shirts for men and women, made soft and fun and in vivid, brilliant colors, with a perfect fit and built to wear a week or two in a row. Subtle, edgy and provocative, but endlessly wearable and with an aesthetic quality that always just works. We wanted to have some fun and make a good shirt and not take it all too seriously.
