Hi! My name is Twitch and I am a 5yr old Doberman Pinscher. I love going for long walks on the beach, swimming, camping, hiking, squeaky toys, snacks and cuddling with my mommy. I live at home with my mom, dad & little brothers (and I do mean little) Diesel and Havoc, the Yorkies.
______________________________________________________ I am a Certified Therapy Dog (TDI) and LOVE my job working with special needs children! I also volunteer at a medical rehab facility and make everyone smile with my silly tricks, cold nose and my "you know you want to pet me" eyes.
______________________________________________________ In addition to volunteering I am a founder of a group called DOBERMANS UNITED. We are a California Bay Area group that is dedicated to the socialization and responsible ownership of our dogs. One of our biggest goals is to challenge the publics perception of the Doberman breed. We believe that education about the breed is key to show the public that they do not deserve the negative reputation that the general public has. Our actions, in collaboration with the Doberman Pinscher Club of America-Northern California branch strives to ensure that this majestic breed is not targeted in Breed Specific Legislation-which could potentially ban the breed in many areas.Our group meets monthly and plays. We focus primarily on building a sound Doberman through ongoing socialization. A properly socialized dog can be placed in a myriad of different environments and maintain a cool, collected demeanor.
