The Barcodes are a 5 members Blues Rock Band from the South of Luxembourg. Their style of traditional Rhythm n' Blues with some Rock n' Roll elements and the mixture of 5 individuals provides them their special sound.
The Barcodes were founded by Eric and Firmin in 2005. After a line-up change, Louis joined them a few months later. From then on things started to move. November 2006 Mike joined The Barcodes to support them as a rhythm guitarist. In 2007, a long time friend of The Barcodes, Franck, joined them as a saxophonist.
After playing more than 30 shows in the first half of 2008, the recordings for the album are finally done. Mix and Mastering still needs to be done. Hopefully the album will be available around June 2009.
From the 23rd May on, we will be back on the road to present our album. We'll play at some festivals and a few club gigs, so open your mind and be ready for this experience.
In Winter 2009, we plan a small Unplugged Tour, more infos soon...
