Originaire de l’Ile de la Reunion et ayant grandi à Paris, DJ Shyne frequante le milieu Dancehall depuis environs 10 ans. Il a commencé le mouvement Dancehall avec le groupe Groovin Sound en fréquentent les Sound Systeme et les studios du Groovin. Il a ensuite commencer a être plus souvent avec son cousin, DJ Cutson, là fût le déclic pour lui et qui c’est ce qui lui a donné la force et l’envie de mixé lui aussi avec le Mashup Production. Ensuite ils commencent a crées des Mixtapes Underground 100% Dancehall tels que les Bogle Sound et les XXXtreme Sound! Ils animent et mix maintenant, lui et DJ Cutson, sur une radio local appelé Velly Music et ils ont leur propre émission, Strickly Jamaica. Big up to my man Selecta Shyne!

He started with the group Groovin Sound, after hanging out with them in studio, he started feelin’ the Dancehall vibez.. But everything start when he saw his cousin, DJ Cutson mixing, that’s when he started to really get into it and wanna mixed himself with the Mashup Production, a producing compagny establised in Europe.. Then he started to do mixtapes, 100% underground Dancehall like Bogle Sound and the XXXtreme Sound. He now host his own radio show with DJ Cutson called Strickly Jamaica on local Velly Music radio.
