Born and raised in Jamestown, North Dakota, Christopher Flitton learned to develop his musical talents against his limited resources and options being from such a small town and state. Yet, despite the environment, he was blessed with the opportunities to have had three very strong friends who were musicians to play with and hone their skills together.
Now, four years after high school and a year after his former jam mates have moved their separate ways, Christopher Flitton has continued to play, write, and record his old and new music. Inspired by love, faith, death, and hope all related to his experiences, Flitton considers his writings to be an open diary into his surroundings as well as his own life blended with passionate and personal music with influences from the poetic like Dave Matthews, and The Goo Goo Dolls to the emotional and heavy sounds of The Early November and The Spill Canvas.
Despite not having any official albums out thus far, Flitton has collected a sizeable archive of individual projects and songs with a planned self-released EP on the way. With no other supporting members to perform his music, except for the occasional support of past jam mates, Flitton has relied on his talent and ability to learn to deliver tracks on bass, piano, drums and other instruments aside from his main instrument the guitar. In addition to his recorded music, Christopher Flitton plays as much live as possible. Often playing with Alex Van Eeckhout, the duo can deliver a performance that is both emotionally and physically vibrant. It's a show any music lover would enjoy and should see.
Be prepared to witness and be part of something special because Christopher Flitton, with his blend of passionate and emotionally charged “musical diary†music, plans to carry out his goal of motivating, inspiring, and impacting lives each and every day.Chris Flitton, Fighting at a College Level, & Skew Tour Blog
