I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

Hi I'm Born in 1954. Yes I know that makes me very old but not quite a sliver surfer. Just an ordinary guy from Hampton, Middx in suburbs of London. Can't add the schools where I was educated as they no longer exists.Have to take care of myself as I do have high blood pressure, so even though I like a pint of beer, too many drinks can harm me big time. I love food but again I have to watch what I eat. My past lifestyle has caught up with me.Self employed running my own company, Spruce Aviation Associates and enjoying that, people still want to employ an over 50 year old guy who writes for a living.Work when and for who I please. Sometimes by-lined in the aviation specialist press and regularly online at www.airfive.aero or www.airfinancejournal.com and occassionally seen on mainstream television and local radio too. Just been on BBC Radio Berkshire talking about Air Force One. Always ready to take on more writing and research work, so if you are in aviation and need something please make contact.During 2007 I co-wrote the European Business Aviation Association's 30th Anniversary Year book and I am writing part of the 2008 Middle East Business Aviation Yearbook to be given out at this year's Dubai Air show in November. As well as writing for EuromoneyPLC, I am hoping to write more for Buying Business Travel, having just finished my first assignment for them and have just completed a four article series for Executive and VIP Aviation International another new aviation magazine. Wrote for Air International on the Dreamlifter aircraft and am writing more on Ocean Sky Aviation, this company provided all the business aircraft in the new James Bond movie 'A Quantum of Solice', they are to take delivery of two new aircraft in October. My name was promenent at the EBACE Geneva show in a couple of key aviation magazines. Attended Farnborough Air show in July, again already been to Paris for a pre-show briefing and attended the Aviation Journalist of the Year Awards dinner but sadly did not win anything, there is always next year.So my life is good right now but you never know what is around the next bend of the road of life. So looking forward scanning the road ahead. Never know I might find exactly what I am looking for.Still have a few ambitions to do, like silver mine prospecting in Bolivia or canoeing up the Amazon River. done the ordinary things like bungee or parachute jump already. And of course meeting the woman of my dreams too (she knows who she is). That ambition will be with me until I draw my last breath on this earth... .. .... ....

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Interesting people. Met plenty of interesting and important people already in my life. Famous people don't impress me, especially today's more modern pop singers, just a bunch of one hit wonders, in my humble opinion. I think they just think themselves important (and act like big kids too). Again in my opinion all women have beauty. Maybe I will find you interesting, so just leave me a message. Please add your name to my new map, a picture would be nice too, so I can see what you look like and where everyone comes from. I would love to get someone from each country of the world
