The life of a hip hop entertainer is not always glitz and glamour as portrayed on television. Hip hop extraordinaire Hav-Boy is all too familiar with the struggles that often accompany an entertainment career. Hav-Boy vividly remembers his days living in New York City without a dollar in his pocket and the many days he went without eating. Fortunately, Hav-Boy is overcoming these struggles. Over the past couple of years, Hav-Boy has gone from living out of his car writing and crafting his art to becoming a must have in the hip hop entertainment world. This rapper, producer, DJ and songwriter is taking the entertainment industry by storm. From global radio play and television appearances to club performances and motion pictures, Hav-Boy is determined to have it all. His infectious, raw energy, rhythmic flow and melodic beats are captivating audiences around the globe and securing him a spot as hip-hop's newest go-to guy. At the age of nine, Hav-Boy began writing rhymes and spinning records, and today he has become known throughout the United States and abroad performing including Canada, Japan and a number of other countries. His popularity grew in 2002 when Hav-Boy performed with Ludacris and Fabolous and began Havok Hour, a hip-hop radio show on WBRU 95.5 FM in Providence, Rhode Island. By 2004, he had appeared on the CBS News Sunday Morning Show, was getting syndicated radio play on international radio shows and had been contracted as the regional host and DJ for Scion car shows and promotional events. Presently, Hav-Boy is dominating the mix CD circuit. He produces and sells thousands of mix CDs each month, which are distributed in the United States and abroad. Hav-Boy has also been commissioned to produced a number of corporate and event mix CDs including Def Jam's We Gets Busy, Scion Extravaganza, Star and Buckwild's Imperial Voyage of Hate and Funkmaster Flex's Birthday Bash at the Roxy. Hav-Boy is also ghostwriting lyrics for major artists and stepping into television and film endeavors. One of the most significant influences on Hav-Boy's music is his ethnic background. His African, Latino and European background have exposed him to various genres of music and directly inspired his innovative style in music. When asked about his aspirations, Hav-Boy enthuses, "I can only think B.I.G. As I'm traveling, I pass all boundaries and expectations through my music. I realize the sky is not my limit if I am soon to be among the stars." And absolutely nothing will stop Hav-Boy from landing amongst the stars.
