The Ruhr(Germany) has back its old face!
Better known as BOOL, the four guys are back on stage to rockin the ground. In early summer of 2007, four dudes found together again, to work on new songs and to bring BOOL back to life. New faces has joined them: Jeg(2007) on the Drums and Marc(2008) on the Guitar. The two old members Didi an Andy are still there.
First everyone made music on his own way and collecting experiences on stage with different bands. Than they decided to rock in one band again. At first they phoned each other several times. Then, during the first meeting in the practising room, Andy and the noob Jeg realized accidentally, that they hat once a common band a couple of years ago. They knew each other better than supposed. Really, it's a f… small world! (*laughing) Now they are sharing the frenetic addiction again, to go on stage and Rock the World!
With that cast they are forging their songs with a fresh sound, compact arrangements and hone them with a tart taste of Grunge. Open-minded and influenced by the environment and the experiences in the past, they create a very catchy, melodic, riff-biased and rousing kind of music. Particularly live on Stage they spread out lots of fun, even to the most tired winter sleepers. The contrast-loaded change overs between strophes and catchy choruses give BOOL a commercial but unique character.
Since midyear of 2007 the guys are going public and pushing their sound into your ears, uncompromising but familiar. Next to giving some Interviews and playing some gigs they won the Band contest from HP, Intel and Microsoft with their Song "You & Me" in autumn 2007 for the new Notebook-Compilation. In May/Jun. 2008 the guys are going to record their debut "Killing the Time", for the release in the forthcoming early summer (Aug.).
Proud of all they have reached (with the help of all the fans) the dudes are looking forward to the future. They will rock better than anytime before!
