Last up-dated November 2005Biography:RocKaBellY – Tony Day1999 was one of the highlight years in the early history of Tony Day. High-school, parties, reckless abandonment – Tony had it all. The thrill of that youthful lifestyle made him never want to put his rock n’ roll dreams away. Yet in the end, reason won out. Armed with the determination to take over the world, he finished high-school and set off for college to learn the trade of business.College not only gave Tony Day an entrepreneurial mind, but also experience with the darker sides of power and politics. Not content with living the constricting life of pleasing and backstabbing suits for the rest of his days, Tony Day picked up his guitar again to chase down his stardom of becoming a rock n’ roll dream, hoping that, this time, his new-found business-savvy would give him a more concrete foundation to launch from.For the past 4 years Tony Day has been playing rock amateur nights at local Toronto Pubs and currently keeping a light schedule with his band. Tony has also taken on many different roles in community musical productions, such as Fiddler on the Roof and Me and My Girl. He has several diplomas in business and including artist management, from the Harris Institute.All of Tony’s experience has driven him to his signature “RocKaBellY†bad-attitude prose. The main Tony Day sound, coined “RockaBellY†by Tony Day, is described as “Alternative Punk Rock with Rockabilly and heavy Buddy Holly influences, and a repertoire that ranges from pieces with Broadway musical influences, to sappy rock ballads, to heavy rock.All in all, Tony Day is a guy who wants to live the Rock N’ Roll dream, and make his fans happy in the route. I mean…Who doesn’t want to perform in front of tens of thousands of screaming girls?
