I am in the process of perfecting the art of chasing my own tail. Further, I have already perfected the art of getting my hopes up over catching said tail only to miss again and again. Speaking of chasing tails, I had a conversation with my dog recently and he assured me that happiness is in his tail. He said, "Dad, (he calls me dad), I think that happiness is in my tail. Funny thing, though, I chase it round and round and all is great. When I catch it, I get this terrible pain. Who knew happiness could be so painful. It is almost like the pursuit of happiness is to be valued more than the happiness itself."
