Dead Orchestra were the kings of the local thrash scene in Wichita, KS in the late 80's (officially formed in 1988) and early 90's, they opened for numerous well known thrash bands during this time including Testament, Annihilator, Nuclear Assault, and many fucking more. Legendary shows. In the early 90's Dead Orchestra released 'global lobotomy' on Germany's Steamhammer Records. It charted rather well...especially in the European market...and Wichita! In 1993 the band released another great thrash record entitled 'sounds like time tastes' a nearly hour long record of intense fucking METAL. Both of these albums were recorded at Morrisound in Tampa, FL. The band is still together to this day (with line-up changes of course). Check out the official DEAD-O myspace page for more info.
