Larry Butler was born in the sleepy little village of Calistoga, CA in the heart of wine country. He ran off to sea at the age of 19 (partly to avoid the draft) and spent 3 years of his 4 year Navy enlistment in Vietnam...he seems to have the luck of the Irish...if it wasnt for bad luck he would have none at all. That all changed, however. After getting one BA in Pschology and another BA in Sociology from Cal State Sonoma, he fled to Denver, CO, where, in 1984 he became an actor after being discovered working in a junk yard. His agent taught him social skills and graces, shaved and bathed him and he promptly became one of Denver's hardest working actors, doing endless regional and national commercials, guest starring in TV series: Perry Mason Mystery, Father Dowling, and doing many print ads for magazines. In 1986 he got the biggest part an actor from Denver ever got in a Hollywood Movie...He co-starred with Maud Adams and Michael Pare and Eddie Valez in The Women's Club...then he moved to Hollywood in 1989 to follow his dream. He did 6 national commercials in a row, hosted his own TV series--"UNDERGROUND HOLLYWOOD" actually shot in a cave, and guest starred in several TV programs--Beatleborgs, Arrest and Trial, US Customs--Classified, Crimestrike, Urban Legends to name a few. He has also had supporting or co-starring roles in more than 30 movies. He has worked with John Ritter, Richard Chamberlain, Raymond Burr, John Denver, Bernie Hudson, Gaylord Perry, David Hasselhoff, Zelda Rubenstein, Gene Berry, Jean Simmons and many more. The highlight of his career was in meeting William Winckler and co-starring in Double D Avenger before going on to star in Bill's next project--Frankenstein vs. the Creature from Blood Cove. Larry has traveled throughout most of the known world and has studied many languages while traveling. He speaks Spanish best. He has skydived for 30 years. He climbed the highest mountain in the continental United States...Mt. Whitney on his 54th birthday and made his 200th skydive over the Pacific Ocean on his 55th. Scuba, skiing and kyaking are also passions of his. He plays piano professionally and actually played Swan Lake for Frankenstein. He also plays a "mean" sax. He served his country in the Navy for 24 years.
