At least I can admit it

About Me

Quick Bulletin:
Okay, there is something I have needed to get off my chest for a long time now. I’m not a very religious person, and would rarely take a religious stance on something. That being stated, I do have to say that fanny packs are the work of the devil. Burn them and be sure to spay and/or neuter your children.
Basics About Me:
For the one person curious enough to read on about me, my name is David. I am unfortunately the youngest of seven(ish) children. I’ve lived in Eugene all my life with a few days spent elsewhere in the world (I don’t get out much). Keep in mind that when I say “world,” I mean four other states in the United States besides Oregon. After college I plan on staying in town for a while, but will most likely move elsewhere on the better of the two coasts (west side for those of you who aren’t sure).
At the moment I am on break from college, but still have two more terms at the University of Oregon. I'm not that much in a hurry to graduate anymore since I've been told that life after college is much like giving yourself iri..omy which then results in a suprachoroidal hemorrhage with potential for associated expulsive hemorrhage. Which as some of you may already know, sounds absolutely amazing to me. I do after all love hemorrhages as a result of malpractice. Well, that or adultery.
I am supposed to be working as an AV Technician for a event planning company or whatever I am supposed to call it. I don’t know if I would call it a real job… All I know is they make me wear pants. Anyway, they don’t like to advertise so I wont say the name of the company… they may actually get real customers (most of them are imaginary).
Pet Peeves:
I was told to put this in so just go with it.
1. The Navy Guy
2. 70th Anniversary of Spam in a can
3. Pedestrians who get in front of my car
4. Fanny Packs
Other Useless Stuff:
* Featured Quote:
"OH! I recognize you guys! I was worried when I looked out my window and saw men walking out of the other building."
* This is profile version P7.75.00

My Interests

Like most people, I do stuff. And not just any stuff. Good stuff. Such as hiking, walking, camping, biking, calling 1-800 numbers, driving around aimlessly (I forget I’m driving), watching movies, rolling bums, hanging out with friends, pretending to be the ghost of Leonardo DaVinci, photography, .. shopping, playing video games, eating Play-Doh, reading, chatting in person and .. (obviously), going out for coffee, going out to eat, listening to music, and just being the overall bitchin’ guy that I am. Sweet.

I'd like to meet:

I really enjoy meeting new people and making new friends. I especially love crazy people. I don’t mean that in the, “I’m going to stalk you for the next six months to memorize your every move so I can create an interpretive dance to commemorate your life.” Just be able to keep up with a good conversation.

I realize that my myspace is a bit superficial. If you'd really like to know more about me, just ask. I am usually pretty open to most questions as long as they don't get too personal. So ask away and feel free to add me. Cheers.

Music:

I listen to all kinds of stuff lately and continue to expand my range of enjoyment. Typically I listen to pop, but there’s always room for some sexy smooth jazz, some punk, swing, some bitchin’ classical, rock, and a tad bit of rap. I can’t say I’m much into death metal or anything like that. And I will only listen to country if it isn’t the formulaic, honky tonk, she thinks my tractor’s sexy because I am a red neck woman, can I get a hee haw while I am all jacked up, so do you think God could use another angel to help pour out the rain or we’ll put a boot in your ass (it’s the American way) type crap on the typical country stations... There has to be at least some attempt at being original and good.

Movies:

A Series of Unfortunate Events, Anchorman, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, The Devil Wears Prada, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Family Guy, Gothica, Just Friends, Mr. & Mrs. Smith, Office Space, Rat Race, Run Ronnie Run, Sorority Boys, South Park, Spaceballs, Stepford Wives, Strangers with Candy, Superstar, Talladega Nights, Waiting, The Wedding Singer, Wrongfully Accused, Van Wilder, X-Men, Zoolander, and anything Monty Python.

Television:

I don’t really watch a lot of TV. If I like a show, I’ll buy the DVD box set. That’s why I am always broke lol. Here are a few of my favorite (things): American Dad, The Colbert Report, The Daily Show, Drawn Together, DutchWest, The Simpsons, Family Guy, Faulty Towers, The Tick, Conan O'Brien, South Park, King of the Hill, Mad TV, Mr. Bean, Mr. Show, Titus, Will & Grace, Monty Python's Flying Circus, Reno 911, Futurama.

Books:

1984, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, The Diary of a Young Girl, and Missing Heels. I actually didn’t read any of these. I’m all about the books on tape. Cause let’s all be honest – who has time to read?
