www.ReppingBeantown.com initially launched on the internet one year ago on March 12th 2007 by founder Angella. The goals and vision that the young Bostonian had for the site were pretty much self-explanatory from the get-go ;judging from the name she picked ,ReppingBeantown. If you ask Angella what pursued her to start with this website, she will simply tell you “I wanted to rep my town!” But overtime, between maintaining a job, classes,friends,family amongst other things, these goals were not executed in the right direction. She began to find her self in the wide range pool that the average bloggers falls into, strictly entertainment. Instead of directing her entries on the happenings and talents in Boston, these entries began to lay focus on the entertainment in the hip-hop industry.“In a lot of ways, I became attached to that type of news for my site”she says. It wasn’t until she became part of a supportive group of bloggers in the urban community, she realized that her audience was not the only audience she was aiming for and sadly not satisfied with the numbers.“The Urbanblogger.com opened my eyes to a lot of things, people there are amazing, helpful,and hilarious! If it wasn’t for them, I would of probably gave up on my site and put my focus elsewhere”Seeing that she had the resources, she partnered up with Jessica one of Boston hottest graphic&print designer, owner of www.Urbanized.net.“Me and Jessica were constantly emailing each other and talking on the phone about the plans we had to collide both sites together. Being that she had the same goals that I did,which was to put boston on the map. We aimed as best as we could to play our cards right and, make this into a successful venture.It was great! Starting from boat cruises, carnivals, local artist mixtapes releases and so forth!Trends & Beauty Rep is a collection of all the hottest,latest,dopest trends in everyday living. Starting from Home make-overs, Beauty, Clothing,styling and so forth!
