This is NOT very difficult for me but here goes. I am a Gary Numan fan......There, I've said it. Not so very long ago, I distinctly remember that it was very uncool to admit to such a thing. How times have changed. I've been a fan from around 1978 when Peely used to champion him and play Tubeway's "Down in the Park". Then I remember when I first heard AFE. It completely blew me away as I'd never heard anything quite like it before and I've stayed loyal ever since. I've never met Gary and I don't feel I really need to. I've met band members but never the man himself. I'd probably make a complete fool of myself so I'll save us both the embarrassment!I've always been into electronic, machine made music, even from an early age and so while I'll give any piece of music a listen to, I'm really choosy about what goes in the old record collection and for that matter who I'll allow as a "friend". Recently, myself and my son Ant have started to produce some music of our own. If you like, you can listen to it by clicking on "the dmb experiment" friend logo below.
