Ryökäle was found in 1997 by Timso(voc & bass) and Spede(drums) right after seeing the finnish hardcore legend Hiljainen Kevät live in Keuruu. The first song was written under the influence of liquid happiness on the same night instantly after the concert and with acceptance of Njani(guitar) the ultimate sonic torture was baptised with a single blow - Ryökäle. Ryökäle has made a few demo records over the years and even managed to play some gigs in Keuruu. Special guest starring to anti-preaching lyrical approach has also been received from Läjä Äijälä (Terveet Kädet) and Astro (Hiljainen Kevät). Many line-up changes have messed some things up but who cares as long as HARDCORE MAYHEM is alive.
